FYI: A "lease" is also known as a "rental" which is owned by an individual or investor and managed by said owner or management company.
To start you should contact a license real estate agent (hopefully me) to assist you with finding the perfect property to lease for you and/or your family. When applying, please be prepared to have your application complete for the realtor assisting you, so they can get the application turned in BEFORE someone else leases/rents your proeprty. Also, you will need the application fee for each adult over the age of 18 years, even if they are not working to pay the monthly rent (usually between $35-$50 cash or check/cashiers check/money order), paystubs (last 30 days) and copy of drivers license for verification. You cannot have a criminal background, but depending on the situation, I can help! Also, you can not have a previous eviction on your record. Upon approval of your lease, you will need to be prepared to have your deposit ready (ususally same amount as the first months rent) in form of cashiers check/money order to submit to the listing agent to hold the property until your move in date. Then, the day you move in, your first months rent will be due and paid again to the listing agents brokerage.
